Holiday Recap

Well it’s back to reality today and a short holiday recap. That means for me wearing a bra daily, not sure about anyone else, but the girls enjoyed their break as well. We also got engaged over the break, it happened the Sunday before Christmas! We are both really excited and will start planning our wedding this month. Probably thinking Spring 2017. After eight years together and a couple in high school, this has been a long time coming. As my dad said a little anti-climatic at this point haha.

I also enjoyed many great meals and treats over the holidays. My family went to the play of “It’s a Wonderful Life“, Curtis celebrated his birthday, drove up to the mountain, explored Whytecliff Park and took in some contemporary art.

Curtis and I also hunkered down a few nights with hot cocoa and watched a few shows and movies. The Sopranos (Curtis is late to the game), Master of None (Great!) and Making a Murderer. We also watched Jurassic World, Inside Out, The Intern, MI: Rogue Nation, There Will Be Blood, Serena and Sicario.

What did everyone else get up to? Anyone take off to somewhere tropical for the holidays? I keep seeing beaches and fresh coconut shots on Instagram this week. Pretty envious of that sunshine!
