Restaurant Post – Soft Peaks

Last Saturday night, my sister and I ventured over to the new Soft Peaks in Gastown. There was a lineup out the door, but it went by pretty quickly. The soft serves leaving the spot while waiting looked delicious! It was a chilly night and rainy but who can say no to a special treat?

Their ice cream is made with Avalon organic milk, it’s not sweet and real creamy. Every cup comes with crunchy cereal on the bottom. This combination of soft and creamy with a crunch is a nice match. They have a variety of toppings which are all local. From fresh honeycomb to match powder there is something for every taste.

I opted for their signature flavour the Honeycomb Peak. It’s topped with the fresh honeycomb and was the perfect amount of sweet with creamy.

My sister ordered the Original Peak. This is topping free.

I will have to return and try the Mudslide and the Green Forest.
