Restaurant Post – Earnest Ice Cream

A couple of weeks ago I visited the new Earnest Ice Cream on Quebec and 2nd. I’m fond of their new space, it’s very open, fresh and the tiles combined with the wood beams are a match made in heaven. The flavours are posted on clipboards hanging above the counter and their slogan of “Seriously Good” is carved into the cement at the counter.

I ordered the Salted Caramel and Peanut Butter and Jelly flavours. WOW, Bailey who works there recommended the peanut butter and jelly flavor and I tried it with no expectations and was blown away by how delicious it was! Ask anyone I know I’ve been ranting and raving about this flavor since. Personally I couldn’t eat a whole pint of it in one go, but I could do some damage. It also went nicely with the salted caramel, but let’s be real here what doesn’t go well with salted caramel?

I highly recommend coming here to tame your sweet tooth and indulge. Curtis and I are really happy they aren’t located closer to where we live and so are our waist lines. Bonus that the lineups aren’t so bad at night yet compared the Fraser Street location and you can still get your pints to go.
