Friday Roundup: August 9

Happy Friday! It’s been a few weeks since the last Friday Roundup. To be honest, I’ve just been enjoying the summer here in Vancouver. The 3 months goes by so quickly and you want to soak up every ounce of the heat and sunshine before it’s fall and that freakin rain starts again.

We’ve been going oto some events in Vancouver like Deighton Cup (my fascinator was made by my friend Luke, so good right?) and the first Punch Bowl Festival. The Punch Bowl Fest was really fun, it’s centered around cocktails, so you can sample from 50 different vendors, grab some BBQ and enjoy an afternoon with friends.

One of my fav things to do is a staycation in my own city! The Westin Bayshore invited us to stay for a night and we took full advantage of their amazing pool right on the seawall. Poolside drinks, delicious food on premises, the VIEWS, just a really relaxing stay.

Also been catching up with friends, spending evenings on patios and shopping dates. Hopefully this month also brings some fun activities and beach days! We’ve spent a couple at Kitsilano pool, just a few minutes walk from our home. Such a great spot to go for a dip and take in some great views.

We live near Kitsilano Farmers Market, last weekend we went and stocked up on a few fresh produce and fruit. Also enjoyed a grilled cheese sandwich and ice cream LOL.

This weekend we have a BBQ with friends, it’s supposed to rain (Nooo!) so I want to binge watch some shows and also maybe binge my closet LOL. Might also film a video for IGTV, which would be the first, not sure what about yet, probably should sort that first.
