Friday Roundup: February 10

Yay! It’s a long weekend Friday Roundup today. We have Monday off for Family Day in BC. I’m excited for that extra day off and  sleeping in haha. It has been a long week, we were in Palm Springs for the first half and then Wednesday I was sick and been busy at work since.

It will be a somber day tomorrow. It’s my uncle’s memorial, he passed away a month ago unexpectantly. A lot of people are expected to show, so that’s really nice for my aunt and cousins to see.

I’m also attending a couple of events this weekend. I went to Pixi Beauty launch in Vancouver last night. See my Instagram Stories for more peeks at the products I received. Amazing! This weekend I’ll be stopping in at the India Rose Cosmeticary event and the Vancouver Wine Festival Launch.

We also have a few projects for the blog to start, I’m really excited to share some fun DIYs! There will also be a couple of Valentine’s Day themed posts, a San Diego Guide, a recap of Palm Springs in the next week! This last week I checked out, was on vacation mode and tired. But I’m back at it!

With the wedding a few short months away, I’m on full health mode. Losing weight is my goal this year, not just for the wedding but in general. We’ve also been eating super healthy, I wouldn’t say we didn’t before, but taking in portion sizes and sugar amounts in mind. Who else is addicted to kombucha? That is some tasty stuff!

Who else is ready for the snow to leave? We came back to so much snow! Haven’t had this much snow in Vancouver for years!
