Broiled Grapefruit with Maple Cream & Ginger

turbindo sugar or coconut sugar

finely chopped crystallized ginger

heavy cream

plain 2% reduced-fat Greek yogurt

maple syrup

Preheat broiler to high.

Place grapefruit halves on a baking sheet, cut side up.

Sprinkle evenly with sugar and ginger.

Broil 8 minutes or until the fruit starts to char.

Place the cream in a chilled medium bowl.

Beat until slightly thickened.

Add yogurt, syrup and vanilla to cream. Beat until fluffy.

Top the grapefruit with cream.
