Friday Roundup

friday roundup
Today is 2015’s last Friday Roundup! Wow where did the last year go? Curtis and I have a busy weekend, I have a pedicure tomorrow at Joyride with my sister, mom and brother’s girlfriend. Should be fun! I’m also going to set up our new bar cabinet that Curtis made in our living area and work on blog posts and homework. I also want to go see a movie and go for a float at Float House.

I also have a few last minute gifts to grab, mostly stocking stuffers and edibles. Oh this is really random but I want to share because it was so good! If you are in Vancouver and looking for amazing seafood chowder, go to Forage! I had a bowl last night and decided I need to have this bowl of seafood chowder weekly… probably not feasible but I like to dream.

Anyone going away this weekend for the holidays? What are you looking forward to this season?

If you are entertaining this next week, try my crostini and Act of Union cocktail! Stay tuned for more recipes next week! I will show how to make a great charcuterie board and a few cocktail recipes.

I’ve never heard of a Float House so I of course got totally distracted by that! Tell me more about it.

I’ve bookmarked this to come back and read some of these. Thanks!

  3. A pedicure sounds wonderful! Good for you to take some time for yourself this time of the year! We all get so busy that we forget how important it is to take a step back and relax ourselves!
