Friday Roundup

vintage-forward

Hi everyone,
vintage-forward

TGIF! I had a busy week and cannot wait for tonight. I am going out for a girls night at Mosquito Dessert in Gastown and I am extremely looking forward to it.

Tomorrow, I will be doing my regular Saturday Barre class followed by breakfast with my mom. My afternoon will consist of studying for an exam and other homework. I might spend my Saturday night watching Tina Fey’s new show on Netflix, Unbreakable Kimmy Scmidt. Sunday Curtis and I have no plans except for more studying, errands, the beach with Piper, sleeping in, all real exciting stuff!

Don’t forget it’s Daylight Savings this weekend, clocks go forward an hour! (ignore if you are outside North America)

Links I enjoyed this week:
1. 7 ways to live a Bill Murray life (Vulture)
2. The two colour conspiracy in House of Cards (Indie Wire)
3. Missed connections for A-holes (New Yorker)
4. Funny ad campaign for gun safety (Bored Panda)
5. All of this photos were shot on an iPhone (Apple)
6. A good laugh (Eater)
7. People and colours (LinkedIn) I see 38
8. Big cats playing with boxes (Twisted Sister)
9. The top song on your birthday
10. 27 designers spill their design tricks (Refinery 29)
11. Frozen desserts (The Kitchn)
12. Secrets to learning a new language (World of Wanderlust)
13. Frozen waves captured by photographer
14. France wants companies to build appliances that last longer (Washington Post)
15. Need to make this ASAP (Food52)
16. Great news! Ringling Bros will retire all of their elephant acts! Sea World you are next (NY Times)

Have a great weekend!
