Chambray

Hi everyone,

One of my favourite shirts in my closet is my JCrew chambray button-up. It’s classic, comfortable, and works with almost everything in my closet. Chambray is a great material, it’s a lightweight cloth fabric and results in a soft touch, almost like the denim equivalent of linen. I would say that it’s a staple for all year-round, looks great under a blazer in the winter, dress up an outfit in the summer and it’s fantastic for casual weekend looks or wear to the office on a Friday. You can wear your classic shirt with pants, pair it with a skirt or tie it up with a pair of shorts.

I will wear my shirt all spring and summer long and have since added a few new items to my closet. These shorts from Aritzia are amazingly comfortable and easy to wear. They will most likely become a part of my days at the beach or lounging around at home. I have also added a jacket from Loft that I have already worn dressed down with sweats or over a dress for dinner.
