Friday Roundup: May 4

Happy Friday folks! Not going to lie, I didn’t get around to doing much this week. It was such a sad weekend with putting Piper down on Saturday. My heart still breaks from seeing him go.

We also celebrated our one year anniversary last Friday. Curtis took me to Savio Volpe and we did the chef’s menu. It was delish!

I also popped into the Muji Canada opening at Richmond Centre. Was nice bumping into other bloggers I know and trying out some sake.

But then Saturday we spent the day cuddling with Piper, taking him to the beach one last time and then letting him go. It was really sad, we still cry over him. So we didn’t do much, our friend Briana came and met us for dinner. Then Sunday we spent the day around the house and went for a walk.

The rest of the week was just really work, taking Oscar for walks, running errands etc.

On Wednesday I did go to the Khalid concert with Briana and Mia. It was a nice girl’s evening out! He’s super talented but boy did we feel old at his concert haha. So many teens and I mean teens still in high school. We kept joking about us being the old ladies haha.

This weekend is my birthday weekend! My birthday falls on Monday, so planning a small group for drinks on Saturday. Then maybe some shopping, patio drinks, eating cake haha. That’s literally our plans for the weekend.

Oh, did you catch my latest weekly vlog on Youtube? I’m slowly uploading them, I’m behind by weeks (!!). But plugging away and hopefully just get caught up by next week. Then I plan on shooting weekly vlogs still, but also new content like tutorials, travel vlogs etc.

And after writing up my Palm Springs guide from last week, I can’t stop thinking about summer weather and vacations. Anyone else?
