Friday Roundup

Lions_Gate_Bridge_10x7_Boring_Sepia_72DPI

Hi everyone, Lions_Gate_Bridge_10x7_Boring_Sepia_72DPI Friday is here already! My week went by quickly, mostly because I had only three work days with taking Monday off and Tuesday being a holiday. It is chilly here in the city, frost in the mornings, cold winds and brisk air. Half of me loves it and the other half wishes I was somewhere else (warmer of course). Piper has taken out his warmer clothes too, he has a nice jacket and a sweatshirt. He looks so freakin’ cute!

Our weekend is busy, we have a few house projects to start and finish (the bathroom is the big one!). A friend is having a party Saturday and homework. I really want to go for brunch sunday and get some waffles.

What are your plans this weekend? What do you do to stay cozy and warm?

A few links I loved this week:
1. Hidden mothers of the Victorian Era. This is creepy! (Messy Nessy Chic)
2. This man is the greatest! (Messy Nessy Chic)
3. Missing boy found in Ikea (Curbed)
4. Guy recreates all 107 Alinea dishes (The Braiser)
5. Hilarious! Women rejecting marriage proposals in Western Art History (The Toast)
6. Mausoleum in a Walmart parking lot (Atlas Obscura)
7. How to not kill each other in a one-bedroom (Domaine Home)
8. This house with a giant shark in the roof can be rented (The Guardian)
9. Kitchen sink porn (Apartment Therapy)
10. Gilmore Girls drinking game, Alanna we need to do this! Responsibly of course 🙂 (The Kitchn)
11. Make your own digestive biscuits for tea (Savory Simple)
12. I need these hot chocolates in my life (How Sweet Eats)
13. 18 movies to watch on Netflix (A good movie to watch)
14. 25 of Oscar Wilde’s wittiest quotes (Mental Floss)

The hidden mothers is an absolutely bizarre item! I can’t believe they actually thought that looked better than having the mothers in the pictures. Hilarious!!
