What Makeup I Packed for a Month in Italy
Having tested just about every single makeup brand under the sun, I can confidently say that these are the tried-and-true items I find myself packing for my vacations. I like to keep a minimal routine when away, I find that I become more relaxed about what I wear on my face every day while away.
Below, you’ll find a list of my favourite everyday makeup products for each category I pack: foundation/concealer, bronzer, brows/mascara, eyeliner, highlighter, lip colour, and even a lip balm.
Wow, maybe I am a little high maintenance or what? But this is what I exactly packed for our one month in Italy this summer and I thought I did quite well! And I found myself packing more or less these exact products for our weekend getaways since. These products will also be what I pack for Palm Springs next week, all about that glow all year round!
The most important factor in how much makeup to pack is which country you’ll be visiting, your style of travel, and how long your travels are for. So pack accordingly to where you are going next. At the end of the day, take what you feel comfortable with, don’t worry about bringing too much, as it’s all mostly lightweight, and most of all, focus on enjoying your experiences more than what you look like.

Lips + Lip Balm
1. Sonia Kashuk – This is actually the lipstick I wore for our wedding, I like to stock up when I visit Target. (But might be discontinued now)

4. Bite Beauty Lip Crayon in Blood Orange
And that’s it! I brought minis when I could like the mascara and Stila Glitter And Glow. A mini is all you need for travel and lasts awhile anyways. I only packed one eye shadow palette because why would anyone bring more than one???
