Weekend Recap

Hi everyone,

How were your weekends? Did you enjoy them with family and friends? Watch the Super Bowl? We had a nice relaxing weekend spent with family. Our Friday night was low-key with us just getting homework out of the way and watching movies.

Saturday I went out for lunch and shopping with my mom and sister in Gastown. We had brunch at The Flying Pig; I ordered the Country Style Breakfast which is always a great choice.
 

We completed a little retail therapy; I bought a couple of rings at Orling & Wu that are made out of recycled telephone wire. We spent a good amount of time in Oak & Fort browsing their amazing selection of sweaters. What a pretty space and those floors are amazing.

Parliament always has neat décor accessories and gathered design inspiration at Inform Interiors.
   
Later that night Curtis and I went out for drinks with my brother and girlfriend and afterwards watched SNL. Yesterday started off with waffles and a lazy morning cuddling with Piper followed by a leisurely lunch at Nook.

Curtis and I split a salad and pizza, had a hard time deciding which one since they are all delicious! We ended up ordering a margherita pizza.

We went to my parents later in the afternoon and my mom made vegetable soup and gingerbread for dinner. Who doesn’t love a homemade gingerbread loaf?
