Weekend Recap
Hi everyone,
This post is a little delayed, the last couple of days have been busy. I had no sleep for a couple of nights with Curtis being sick (he snores like a freight train) and Piper has an upset stomach. They both ensured that I didn’t miss out on anything during the night.
At work we had two birthdays to celebrate and we did that with cake!
Friday was a relaxing evening; Curtis and I watched a couple of movies and went to bed early. We watched Force Majeure and Lee Daniels’ The Butler.
Saturday I went to Pacific Centre with my sister for a little sale shopping. Afterwards we went to the Yew at the Four Seasons and shared some plates for dinner with cocktails. We were stuffed but we still managed to venture over to Soft Peaks in Gastown for some dessert.
Sunday we slept in and started watching Orange is the New Black. It’s a great show and if you were a fan of Weeds than you will enjoy it! In the afternoon we went for a drive to the British Properties and admired the view of the city. Later that night Curtis and I went to dinner with my parents at The Union, which is always a great choice.
Monday, Curtis and I went into the city and grabbed lunch from a new food cart. It’s called Montreal Steamies serving steamed hotdogs and buns topped with coleslaw. It was yummy! Went back to JCrew where I bought pants I saw on Saturday with my sister on sale. They are really cute on and extremely comfortable!
Our long weekend ended with family dinner at my parents, where my mom made tomato soup and roasted chicken with vegetables. We ended up watching Louis CK‘s newest standup special all together.
