Friday Roundup | April 19
Happy Friday! It’s been a busy month so far, thus the lack of Friday Roundup posts! Events, client work, seeing friends and family and Curtis and I are listing our apartment for sale in May. Yes, after a few years in our current place, we are looking to sell and get a larger place. Soooo we’ve been busy decluttering, touching up, painting, tiling and just minor stuff.  I of course plan on sharing more on this on future videos on my Youtube channel and on here, so stay tuned!

Other than that, I’ve attended a few events over the past couple of weeks. I’ve also mostly been at home working on client work, blog campaigns, and home reno stuff. Oh, and planning our trip to Italy! SOOOOO EXCITED FOR THAT.

Spring has also arrived which means this mix of beautiful, sunny days in Vancouver to the miserable, gloomy rain we are known for. I can’t wait for May where the weather seems to get better. Obviously because it’s also my birthday month!

First up is the Biotherm Healing Summit featuring their Life Plankton Elixir, that after 8 days of use apparently changes your skin texture. I’ll be sure to keep you updated on this, watch my Instagram stories to see.

My brother also was part of Roll Call Vancouver, a photography show in Vancouver. They had so many hours to shoot a roll of film, then submit it and hope for the best. His turned out pretty good, proud sis over here.

We celebrated my dad’s birthday, my mom made a homemade carrot cake, it was delish!

There were a couple of food events, one of my favourite events to attend, first up was checking out White Spot’s new Avocado Beyond Meat Burger. I loved it! Creamy avocado, corn salsa and a tasty bun.

Also enjoyed a brunch at Flying Pig, I went home in a food coma, so worth it!

Last night, I brought Luke with me to Earl’s latest location at Metrotown, Earl’s Station Square. Very nice space, the new locations are beautifully decorated. We had fun and then I met Curtis downtown at his best friend’s farewell party.

Today, I’m off to an artisan market show with Vicki, should be fun! And then we are staying in tonight because Curtis and I are going to get some more stuff done around the house, watch a movie and face mask. Tomorrow I have plans with friends and I want to tackle our patio since the weather calls for sun. Need to clean it up, sort out plants and make it look as pretty as possible.

And Sunday we are having Easter dinner with my family, overall, a pretty chill weekend. Which is very much needed, this week felt sooooo long and I was exhausted. I need a good lie in and chill time at home. I’m excited for next weekend though because it’s our wedding anniversary! TWO YEARS. Where did the time go??? We are celebrating by having a spa day at Willow Stream Spa and then a nice dinner, it’s going to be a great day 🙂

What are your long weekend plans?? Who else is ready for summer to arrive, I cannot wait for the hot summer evenings!
