Friday Roundup October 19
Happy Friday! It’s been a crazy couple of weeks full of events, hanging with friends, Canadian Thanksgiving, and work. So this will be a jammed pack Friday roundup with photos and event recaps.

Two weekends ago was Canadian Thanksgiving, we had dinner with my family the Saturday night since my parents were leaving to Iceland Monday. Curtis and I also ran errands that weekend, enjoyed Hot Pot with Jonathan, checked out the new Chewie’s Biscuits by our home, drove to Deep Cove and brunched. It was a pretty good long weekend.

Then my week was chaotic lol. I started a new online course with Vancouver Business Babes. It’s called Action Takers Club, we meet online at 7:30AM every Tuesday.

I checked out an event with Vicki, had dinner with Puerto Vallarta Tourism and made ceviche yum!

Thursday, I had two events, first was at McDonald’s to launch this year’s Monopoly! Then off to Swatch to check out their new launches. It was a busy, yet fun evening.

Friday, I picked up new shoes from Aldo, had a few client calls and then went to see a comedy show with Vicki, her friends and Curtis. I recommend the Quiz Show at Fox Caberet, hilarious! I was supposed to go to this YouTube Music pop-up event, but then had too much on my plate.

The weekend we explored the city on foot, it was so nice out for a long walk. Fan Expo was on at the Convention centre, so many people in costumes!

Oscar enjoyed his Sunday morning at a French Bulldog meetup! 40 Frenchies were there, creating chaos and mayhem haha. The rest of our afternoon was crying at A Star is Born matinee lol. Soooo good though! I recommend seeing this one in theatres because of all the concert scenes and music. Can’t stop humming the soundtrack at home.

I had a complete busy week with work, cancelled a couple of events to concentrate on deadlines and just to see Curtis lol. My parents returned and we are now back at our home, in our bed, back to business. I worked out everyday at my parents, which I’m proud of in their gym, and then went for a long walk with a friend on Wednesday. The weather has been amazing for October here!

Last night, I went to the Vancouver Home and Garden Show preview with Vicki and we made a DIY project. And today is a busy, busy day! First a workout, then a quick bit of work and then off to a Ramen tasting at Ramen Koiko! YAAS!

The rest of my day is spending time with the Telus team and their latest community program. We had dinner at Homer Street Cafe and then off to see Ellen in person at Rogers Arena! I’m pretty excited!!!

Next week is pretty chill, I have a couple of meetings and then spending the weekend with Goop! I’m going to a couple of events by them at Stanley Park, a workout class and then a workshop the same afternoon with psychotherapist Barry Michels. goop, the modern lifestyle brand founded and helmed by Gwyneth Paltrow, is taking place at the In goop Health Vancouver Summit October 27-28 at Vancouver’s Stanley Park Pavilion. I think you can still buy tickets here. There’s also a retail store selling all their products and new launches.

How was your last couple of weeks? Any fall getaways planned?
