A Sunday Afternoon at a Pumpkin Patch

Pumpkin Patch Fraser Valley

Eagles Acres Dairy Pumpkin Patch
Last Sunday we drove out to the Fraser Valley in a hunt for a pumpkin patch. We initially went to a couple in Abbotsford, but each one was packed. I’m not kidding, hundreds of cars on the street because the parking lots were at capacity. So we just drove on by haha.

We ended up at Eagle Acres Dairy Farm who had a small pumpkin patch and livestock to check out. The other known one, Aldor Acres was also super busy, and we overheard a family tell someone at Eagle Acres how busy it was so they just left and came here. I felt out decision was validated. I’m not one for crowds, neither is Curtis.

Curtis of course was thrilled to be on a farm, a dairy farm nonetheless. Brought back memories of his grandparents farm in Saskatchewan. He even commented on how nice looking the field next door was haha. They had dairy cows, goats, calves, piglets, barn cats, puppies, ponies and more!

Pumpkin Patch Adventure Fort Langley
We didn’t take home any pumpkins because we live in an apartment and just don’t really have anywhere to put one, but we wanted to do something fall-like and get out of the city.

It was a nice afternoon! I recommend checking out Eagle Acres and their pumpkin patch. They had a really nice selection of pumpkins for sale by the entrance in case you didn’t want to go foraging for some in the field. And it’s a nice drive to get there from the highway, and if you have time, stop in Fort Langley for a bite to eat and wander.

What are your Halloween plans? Anyone else go to a pumpkin patch this season? If you are wondering where else to check out in the Fraser Valley, see my post here.
