3 Tips For Making a Halloween Treat Board

Are you looking for some spooky Halloween treat boards for your next party? Look no further, this post has some inspiration for you!

Halloween is one of my favourite holidays, I absolutely love the spooky season. Now that Rowan is more aware of the holiday, it will just become more fun each year, I hope to start some traditions for our family.

I feel that a treat or snack board is such an easy and fast way to feed your guests, family or if you have a kids slumber party. It can also be a fun and interactive experience! This is something I’ll make every year, adding gummies when Rowan is able to eat those. And if you are looking to do a cheese board for the adults, here’s my epic board you can make at home.

While there really is no right or wrong way to go about creating a Halloween candy board, I do have a few helpful tips for you to consider:

3 Tips for a Killer Halloween Candy Board

1. Fill it with your family favourites

We all have our favourites! Whether it’s peanut butter cups or Skittles be sure everyone has at least one of their favourite present on the board. Don’t forget to add in some salty items, I added some caramel salted popcorn to ours!

2. Bowls help contain smaller items like M&Ms

If you want to prevent the smaller items like M&Ms and chocolate balls from rolling into the couch cushions put them in a bowl… you’ll thank me later!

3. Add spooky elements like skulls, monster fingers, or even these cute bats!

Remember, this is a time to be fun! Add Halloween-themed elements to your board to jazz it up. Just be careful not to choose anything too small or can easily roll off the board.

Let’s not forget, you can throw the rules out the window for one night! Eat lots of junk food, stay up late, laugh together… and above all else, have fun!
