What’s Cookin’ – Pie

This week I baked a Cinnamon Roll Apple Pie, it was delicious and expressed fall in a pie! I love pies and have as of late started collecting cookbooks that focus on this as a dessert or meal. Pies are comforting, delicious, come in varieties from savoury to sweet, fruit to chocolate, eggs and veggies, nuts, you name it, it’s been made. My personal favourites are chicken pot pies, mince meat pies (that’s the Scottish in me!), my mom’s apple one and a good key lime.

Below are a few of my favourite ones I’ve seen on the web lately. Perfect for any time over the fall and winter. I would love that butternut squash skillet one for Thanksgiving or the Apple Cheddar at Christmas.
