What’s Cookin’ – Healthy Edition

I want to perk up my standard paper bag lunches with fresh, tasty alternatives. In the last year, I have changed my diet, granted I ate somewhat healthy before; I blame my weight gain on laziness, lack of portion control and exercise. I threw out all our junk food and introduced clean eating.

Up to now, in one year, I have lost 30lbs. I cannot believe I had that much to lose in the first place, but alas I did. I still am hoping to lose another 10lbs in order to reach my goal weight. In doing so, I have cut out dairy, carbs, and sugar on a daily basis, indulging periodically because hey, life is too short not to! In doing so, I find myself more energized, I don’t need that afternoon nap on a regular basis, and bloat is non-existent.

Below are a few links to some recipes I bookmarked to try in the upcoming weeks.

Five Healthy Lunch Ideas
