What’s In My Everyday Makeup Bag

What's In My Everyday Makeup Bag

With my job comes receiving the latest makeup launches in the mail and myself purchasing new products to test out and share on here. For the most part, I generally go with a basic look for every day, I work from home, so I don’t glam up Monday to Friday unless I’m attending an event or meeting.

Having a lot of products sounds like fun but it’s more annoying than anything – I could never find what I was looking for! So I pulled out this bag my sister gifted me for Christmas one year and subsequently did a major makeup purge recently. I keep this bag on my vanity at home but also travel with it. It has all of my makeup essentials and it basically never leaves my side. I will add to it for whatever occasion or where we are travelling, but for the most part, these are my go-to basics.

With this post, I wanted to give you a glimpse of what’s in my everyday makeup bag. Would love to know what is in your bag, please share in the comments!

The Products in My Everyday Makeup Bag

My favourite cc cream

I’ve been using this IT Cosmetics CC Cream with SPF 50 for two years now. It’s become a staple, I love how it applies, that it provides SPF coverage and it’s full coverage but doesn’t feel like it on my skin.

The lipgloss I can’t live without

This is a new launch from Burt Bee’s, which means you can find it at your local drug store. It applies a sheer colour with a hydrating gloss effect. I have one in this bag and one stashed in my purse.

How I keep my hands hydrated

This hand cream is a new launch from Burt’s Bees and smells amazing! The size is great for throwing in your bag, the formula is 99% natural and leaves my hands silky smooth.

The face palette I’ve hit pan on

Not many palettes I’ve hit pan on, but this one I have. I love the colours, that it has a bronzer, blush, and two highlighters. They give a light shimmer and the palette is small to fit in this bag and also great for travel.

My new blush obsession

MAC just released this blush at the beginning of February, I immediately scooped it up! I love the shade, the packaging and how nice it applies on my cheekbones. Just a subtle pop of pink, not too extreme but enough to give me some colour.

Single eyeshadows for everyday

Since palettes can be large, I don’t keep them in my everyday makeup bag. I chose to put two single eyeshadows in that can be worn for during the day and at night. You can find them here and here.

The perfect pink lipstick

I’ve been obsessed with this lipstick for a couple of years now, was first introduced to it at an event and immediately went and bought it. It’s such a gorgeous shade of bright pink, I wear it all year round. It’s hydrating and VERY long-lasting.

The brow product and mascara for a natural look

You know my love for Glossier and boy brow, but I also really love their Lash Slick mascara. It provides just the right amount of a natural lash, separates each nicely and doesn’t smudge.

Perfect eyeliner for Spring

I think there might be a theme in my bag, but pink and blush shades are something I’ve been liking lately. This Wonder Swipe eyeliner from Rimmel applies nicely with a thin tip, the price point is fantastic since it’s a drugstore brand and the colour is subtle and perfect for Spring.

The concealer that covers up my sleepless nights

I have mentioned before on here how I like the NARS soft matte concealer. I find it not only covers up the dark circles under my eyes but also my breakouts along my jawline.
