Friday Roundup | 2.22.19

Happy Friday! Here we are again with another Friday Roundup. The last two weeks have been busy, with a few days spent in Tofino, to events and catching up with friends. Also all the snow we’ve been having in Vancouver! SO MUCH.

Currently, I’m writing this up while watching a mini-marathon of Real Housewives of Atlanta lol. I’m trying to catch up from the past two years, geez so much DRAMA. Anyone else Real Housewives fans? I love NJ, NYC and OC the most. But Atlanta is coming back into my favourites, their Tokyo trip this season was hilarious.

I’ll be sharing more on our Tofino trip in a guide and vlog pretty soon here. Also Palm Springs is coming soon as well! Let’s just say I took quite a bit of photos, maybe too many.

This week, I went to a Spring preview of Estee Lauder’s latest launches. There’s quite a few new skincare products and makeup launches. Nutritious Micro-Algae, a eyeshadow palette, lip palettes, Perfectionist Pro sunscreen and new foundations. I love this brand, the Advanced Night Repair and Double Wear Foundation are both staples in my bag.

Warby Parker is opening up their 1st Western Canada location tomorrow. I checked out their store before the grand opening, what a beautiful space! Terrazzo floors, custom shelving, a mural done by a local Canadian Artist, Sebastian Curi and all the gorgeous frames! I am receiving a pair of glasses, I chose the Laurel frames in Crystal and am excited to wear those around. To me, a new pair of glasses are like putting on fresh new socks LOL.

We also caught up with friends, had family dinner, did a little work around the house and client work as per usual. But I’m itching for Spring to arrive so we can jazz up our patio. New plants, accessories and maybe even a couple of new chairs are on my list.

Tonight, I’m attending a workout event with Sproos Collagen. We are taking a barre class and then learning about their new launches. I have just started using their marine collagen, but have been using collagen for ages now. Really think it helps my nails and hair.

And then Saturday night I am sleeping over at IKEA! Yes, you heard that right, I will be sleeping in their store along with 10 other people. This is my childhood dream come true, except I am sleeping in an adult bed lol. My friend Vicki is coming along and it should be fun. You can watch my Instagram Stories to see it as it happens.
